Digital Access

We want the Foundation’s website to be usable by as many people as possible.

Accessibility is ongoing work. We use established web accessibility guidance as a reference, review important user journeys, and rely on visitor feedback to identify barriers.

This statement describes our direction and feedback process; it is not a claim that every page, third-party tool, or integration is free of accessibility issues.

Our Approach

Improve the paths people depend on most.

We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines as a practical reference while improving navigation, forms, donation journeys, content structure, and responsive layouts.

Keyboard use

We work to keep navigation, forms, dialogs, and other controls usable without requiring a mouse.

Readable content

We prioritize clear hierarchy, useful alternative text, sufficient contrast, and layouts that remain understandable when text is enlarged.

Assistive technology

We use semantic structure and accessible names so common screen readers and related tools have better information to work with.

Motion and interaction

We support reduced-motion preferences where implemented and work to avoid interactions that depend on precise gestures or short time limits.

Known Boundaries

Some experiences depend on third-party services.

Payment providers, embedded media, maps, social platforms, external fundraising services, and linked websites may have their own accessibility behavior. We cannot certify those external experiences, but feedback about barriers encountered through a Foundation journey is still useful.

We also continue to review older pages and complex interactive features as the site changes.

Report a barrier

Include the page address, what you were trying to do, what happened, and any browser or assistive technology details you are comfortable sharing. Do not include passwords, payment credentials, or other sensitive account information.
