Child Protection · Stories of Impact
A New Beginning
South Asia
“They gave me back my childhood and my future.”
From where they started to where they are now.
No child should have to fight for their own safety. Behind every rescue is a coordinated effort to find, free, and slowly rebuild—and behind every survivor is a person who refused to be defined by the worst thing that happened to them. This is one of those journeys.
Trafficked at age 12, forced into labor
Rescued through covert operation, placed in rehabilitation center
Now 18, studying social work, advocates for other survivors
They gave me back my childhood and my future.
Why this work matters.
Protecting children is delicate, dangerous, and slow, which is exactly why it is so often left undone. We pair rescue and rehabilitation with legal advocacy and long-term care, because a child's safety is not secured in a single moment—it is rebuilt patiently, and it is defended in the systems that failed them.
