Tribute giving FAQ
Will the honoree or their family be notified of my gift amount?
No. The e-card notification will mention that a donation was made in their honor or memory, but it will not include the donation amount. Your gift amount remains private.
When will the notification be sent?
E-card notifications are sent within 24 hours of your completed donation. You can also choose not to send a notification at all.
Can I make a recurring tribute gift?
Yes! You can set up monthly giving as a tribute. Each month, you can choose whether to send an updated notification or keep it private.
Is my tribute gift tax-deductible?
Yes. Your tribute donation is fully tax-deductible. You will receive a receipt for your records regardless of whether you send an e-card notification.
Can I create a memorial page for ongoing donations?
Yes, for larger memorial initiatives, we can create a dedicated fundraising page. Contact us to discuss setting up a memorial fund.
